EQ Design Challenge & Giveaway
I finally finished up my entry for the EQ Design Challenge. Over 11 years ago I made a lap quilt for my mom for her birthday.
The block centers are leftovers from the Quilt Minnesota fabrics that year.
This is a variation of her quilt. Without the “pictures” for the block centers, it just didn’t look right. I changed the squares into Square-in-a-Square instead. I liked that much better.
This quilt has alot of background fabric that would be perfect for some fancy quilting.
Since I would use several of Deb Tucker’s Studio 180 rulers, I’m eligible for the bonus prize. The ones I would use are the Corner Pop, Square Squared, V-Block and maybe the Corner Beam. I think the V-Block ruler could be used instead of the Corner Beam, not sure–I’d have to try it.
I’m going to have to live another couple hundred years to get all the quilts made that are running around in my head. That’s only if I don’t think of more to make…
Here‘s where you can see all the quilts submitted so far. And enter one of your own, contest ends Sunday (nothing like waiting until the last minute).
