It’s beginning to look alot like Christmas!

I managed to get some of the Christmas decorations up. It’s a bit of a challenge to decide where to put what in a new space. I’ll keep adding more as time goes on. I don’t know what we’ll do for a Christmas tree–can’t go out in the woods to cut one down this year…

This is a hanging light fixture. It was there when we moved in. We’ve never used it. First I hung a string of pinecones. Then I draped garland around it. I topped it off with a poinsettia and holly garland.
Garland and lights on the curtain rod (no closing drapes until after Christmas!)
I made this Delectable Mountains wallhanging several years ago. I had one more string of pinecones, luckily they hang between the cardinals.

The closest I got to sewing yesterday was to buy an eighth yard of fabric. There won’t be any sewing today either, but there’s tomorrow.

It looks like we may have had a bit of snow overnight. The forecast is for up to 6″ tonight, and not above 0 Tuesday and Wednesday. This is going to be a long winter.
