Copyright…or wrong

Several days ago there was a post on a quilt patterns designer group to which I belong. It was about a photo that a publishing company took off of Pinterest to put on the cover of a book that was in no way connected to the person who designed the pattern and made the quilt. She was never contacted in regard to using her photo. You can read Nicole’s blog post here.

It’s shameful that a company would treat someone in this manner. Apparently they feel they have done nothing wrong. And that is very sad.

Wonder how they would feel is someone started copying and making money off their work???

On happy news—I received an email this morning that my fabric for my latest Island Batik fabric will ship today. I should have it by early next week. Now I just need to tie up loose ends here.
